We offer gas delivery to Durban and the surrounding areas only.
Select "Email me a quotation" when adding items to your shopping cart, then go to checkout and click "Place Order" for an obligation-free quotation to be emailed to you. This will NOT place an order. You may elect whether you wish to proceed with the order after receiving the quotation.

What happens next:
1) You will be sent an immediate automated email confirming that we have received your order.
2) Your order will been scheduled during business hours by one of our staff, who will also let you know when you can expect your delivery.
We usually send orders the same day if we receive them early enough, otherwise the following working day.
What size cylinder do I have?
9 KG = Knee height , 19 KG = Waist height , 48 KG = Shoulder height.
How cylinder deposits work:
If you will be returning the same number of empty cylinders as you are ordering then you don't need to worry about deposits. For example if you order 5 cylinders and return 5 empties then no deposit charges are necessary.
If you will be returning less cylinders than you are ordering then please add one deposit per extra cylinder you require. For example, if you order 5 cylinders but only have 3 empty cylinders to return, then add 2 deposits.
The price of a deposit is the same on all sizes of cylinders so, for example, you could order a 19kg cylinder and return an empty 9kg cylinder without incurring any additional deposit charges.
We are Afrox distributors and supply gas only in grey Afrox handigas cylinders, but we accept other brands of empty cylinders such as Easigas (silver cylinders), Oryx (green cylinders) and Total (orange cylinders). We do not currently accept Solgas cylinders (light blue).
Entering your delivery address and contact information:
You will only need to enter your information once. Use the same device and browser next time and it should automatically pre-populate; you will then only need to enter your gas order.
How to request a quote:
Call us on 031 700 3006 or...
1) Select your gas and go to checkout as you would if you were placing an order.
2) Type “Please quote me” in the “Add any notes here” text box.
3) Tap “Place Order”.
4) The system will inform you that you have placed an order and an immediate automated email will be sent to you confirming your order, but don’t worry, an order will NOT be placed.
5) A quotation will be emailed to you during business hours.
6) Should you then wish to go ahead and place an order you may simply reply to the quotation email, or use our online ordering system again.
How to make it work like an app on your mobile device
Apple devices:
1) Launch your Safari browser and go to https://gastrek-online-ordering.ecwid.com
2) Tap the share button (a hollow square with an up arrow) and then tap "Add to Home Screen" (a darkened square with a plus sign inside of it).
3) You can edit the description to read "Gastrek" or "Gas" or whatever you prefer.
4) Tap "Add".
5) There will now be an icon on your home screen for quick access.
